Where can I watch the racing?
There will be a Premium Ticketed area with organised activities on Mackerel Quay. This will cost £10 daily for adults, and will be free to accompanying under 12s. This area will have a big screen and PA system with up to the minute coverage, live entertainment, access to the P1 Race Village, food and refreshments vendors, and local craft and produce stands all from the west Wales area. There will be no restrictions to visitors wanting to visit any of the other venues at Milford Waterfront over the weekend, but it is recommended that visitors book tickets for the event in advance, or make reservations with other venues directly (particularly Foam and The Harbourmaster), to avoid disappointment. Premium event tickets, and VIP hospitality tickets, can be booked online in advance.
Will I have to pay £10 to go to any of the businesses at Milford Waterfront over the weekend?
No. The premium ticketed area is along Mackerel Quay only, and pedestrian access to all businesses will remain unrestricted, as usual. We would recommend making reservations with venues directly, if you intend to watch the racing from the venues.
Can I park at Milford Waterfront over the weekend?
There will be no event parking at Milford Waterfront over the weekend. Disabled parking spaces will be available for Premium and VIP event ticket holders (on production of a valid blue badge) on site. A free Park and Ride service will be in operation all weekend, from Milford Haven School (Thornton entrance), and overflow parking on Thornton Industrial Estate, to Mackerel Quay. A local free shuttle bus service will be in operation over the weekend, covering Hakin, Hubberston, Hamilton Terrace, The Rath and Charles Street in a circular route.
Can I watch from The Rath?
There will be no organised event viewing on The Rath, although the racing will be visible from this area. Spectators viewing the racing from The Rath do so at their own risk. The Royal British Legion Club will be planning to offer refreshments for non-members and visitors over the weekend - updates will follow once details are confirmed.
Can I watch from the area in front of Smokehouse Quay?
This footpath will remain open as usual, and event marshals will manage this area. Access to Milford Beach will be restricted and managed in the best interests of public safety.
Can I watch from Hakin Point?
This is to be confirmed. The possibility of a second ticketed event viewing area is being considered at the moment. There will be no restrictions to pedestrian access to the Kings Arms, although the gate to Point Street will be closed and there will be no vehicular access through the weekend.
