End of Season Review: South Street

It was a frustrating campaign but one with many signs of potential heading into the off-season for debutants South Street.

The pairing of Frederick Bastin and Buby Bertels opened their first UK campaign in Aalborg with a fierce battle alongside Arthur J Gallagher to claim fourth in Heat 1. The two teams squared off again in their next outing resulting in South Street repeating their fourth-place finish.

They added to their early results with a highly impressive second in the Plate-Final, just 18 seconds behind winners PickfordsFX.

Unfortunately, they failed to pick up points after returning from Denmark as they were unable to participate on day one of the Scottish Grand Prix of the Sea before being struck with mechanical failure during the first heat on the following day.

They were also unable to attend the meeting in Milford Haven which ended their season but they will have all focus on building upon those early race results in 2018.
