Come Racing with Us
The P1 SuperStock and P1 RIB Championships represent two of the most accessible and most exciting forms of marine motorsport today.
We are looking for new pilots, teams and corporate sponsors for boat ownership to come racing with us throughout 2010.
Training is simple and takes just four days and we have access to a number of boats for sale in the UK and Europe.
Team pilots require the RYA Level II powerboat training course which takes two days to complete and we have our own P1 training school offering reduced training rates.
A provisional race licence is obtained after a further training course of two days which then entitles pilots to go racing.
A full race licence can be achieved after competing in four races.
- Training costs £250 RYA Level II per person
- Race training £300 per person
- Minimum age for navigators is 16 years old
- Minimum age for drivers is 16 years old in 150 class and 18 years in 300 class
SuperStock boats are on the market from £10,000 for a second-hand 150 boat, with a brand new 300 class boat and engine totalling £50,000. Annual team budgets are around £10,000 for fuel, repairs, travel and hotels - considerably less than the costs involved in traditional four-wheeled motorsport.
We are also looking for international pilots as we roll out our race series in key markets ready for 2011.
