Hitting a wave at full chat can often lead to the boats in our fleet rocketing skywards, grabbing some serious hang-time! Some of the teams are well known for spending more time in the atmosphere than in the water. It may not be the fastest way around the race circuit, but it's a massive crowd pleaser and looks cooler than a penguin's babymakers.
