#07 VoomVoom.com gets Microlink PC backing

The #44 Conam Yachts and #07 VoomVoom.com boats race each other in Tunisia
The #07 VoomVoom.com boat will be sponsored by Microlink PC for the remained of the 2008 Powerboat P1 season. The company provides specialist equipment, training and support for people with disabilities and learning difficulties, helping them through the use of assistive technology in the workplace and education sectors.
Microlink PC recently backed the Injured Soldiers Sailing Initiative’s ‘Toe In The Water’ entry in the recent Skandia Cowes week sailing events. The boat, crewed by five injured soldiers, six able-bodied crew members and a physiotherapist competed aboard an A40RC in the IRC Class 1 during the seven days of competition. Two of the injured soldiers also joined Pindar Ocean Racing skipper Brian Thompson for the Artemis Challenge event.
