Powerboat P1 teams taste success in Italy

The #60 GFN Gibellato and #10 Fantastic 1 Cigarette boats battle in Tunisia
Congratulations to three of our Italian Powerboat P1 teams who tasted championship success in Europe at the weekend. In the final round of the Italian Powerboat Series in Nettuno, near Rome in Italy, the crowns for the Italian and European Powerboat titles were sealed, and it was a quartet of wins for teams from our neck of the woods.
The #60 GFN Gibellato crew of Marco Pennesi and Stefano Bonnano (who currently lie third in the Powerboat P1 standings) won the Italian Powerboat Evolution class championship, while the #10 Fantastic 1 Cigarette Racing Team Europe won the European Powerboat championship crown.
In the SuperSport class, the reigning Powerboat P1 champion and current title-leading #44 Conam Yachts Racing Project team took a double win in both the Italian and European title chases. Also present at the event, using it as useful preparation for the upcoming Vigo Grand Prix of the Sea, were the #69 Honeyparty.com and the #66 Cranefields Wine teams.
