PANTHERS HIT THE ROAD FOR THE WEST COAST

The revolutionary 28 ft. Panthers took off from P1 USA’s home office in Greenville, N.C. last weekend to travel across the United States for the SuperStock USA title race at the San Diego Bayfair on Mission Bay.

After approximately five days of travelling 2,649 miles through eight states, the P1-28SS Panthers will arrive at the final stop in the inaugural P1 SuperStock USA season. The travel is a bit further than SuperStock USA’s last race in Morehead City, N.C that was located just 90 miles east of P1 USA’s home office.

The 2011SuperStock USA Champion will be crowned at the San Diego Bayfair with only 11 points separating first and fourth place and one point separating first and second place. 60 points are up for grab with round eight of the SuperStock USA tour also being held in San Diego to substitute the cancellation of rounds seven and eight scheduled for Houston. The SuperStock USA teams raced round seven in Morehead City at the Crystal Coast Grand Prix where Mark and Cody Kowalski of team JD Byrider took the checkered flag.

Six other classes will be racing at the San Diego Bayfair including the Air National Guard Hydroplane Series, SuperStock USA’s partner series for three events this year. P1 SuperStock USA’s final race is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 18 at 4:00 p.m.
