The P1 Panthers return to the world’s busiest professional race marketplace for motorsports business people this week at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show that takes place Dec. 1-3 in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center.
The P1-28SS Panther was unveiled at PRI Trade Show just a year ago where its launch made a huge impact with the motorsports industry and powerboat fans alike. The P1 Panther has revolutionized the sport of mono-hull powerboat racing making it affordable, accessible and safer while generating a one-design class that has created a level playing field for all competitors.
The Peters and May race boat will be on display at the event along with a pleasure version of the Panther with the rear cowl removed and two additional back seats in place. At last year’s PRI Trade Show, team Ocala Gran Prix owner Jorge Arellano got his first look at the Panther and competed in the P1 SuperStock USA Championship just six months later.
With the help of Peters and May, the official logistical partner of P1 SuperStock, the PRI Trade Show is the third stop in Florida for the Panthers in the last two months. A pleasure version of the boat displayed at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show in October and four Panthers ran in the Key West Poker Run just two weeks ago.
The PRI Show is the world’s largest trade show with 40,000 racing entrepreneurs from all 50 states and 65 countries converging in Orlando this week. The event takes up 700,000 square feet where companies will display the latest advances in racing products and race engineering. Engine parts, suspension components, data acquisition, safety gear, new metal alloys and coatings, machining equipment, race electronics are all part of the show.
