SWEET CAROLINA

The all new P1-28SS Panther production is in full-swing, the assembly unit in North Carolina is making great strides as they manage to produce three boats per week in the lead up to the first race of the series in June. But it’s no surprise that the production rate is so good when you look at the impressive portfolio of Powerboat P1’s production partner, Liberty Associates that include Donzi, Pro-Line and Fountain.

As the P1/Liberty partnership strengthens the production rate is also set to rise in the next few weeks as the plant is capable of five P1-28SS’ per week. Both companies have a great history within the powerboat scene and this collaboration is also proving a hit for the local labour force, which has been hit badly by the recent economic downturn .

This step towards the future of the sport is an awesome example of a successful trans-Atlantic joint venture.
