Harrison Malin currently sits second in a very competitive UK Pro Sprint Class. This year, the hotshot moved up from the Amateurs to mix it up with the likes of reigning champion Cameron Green and former world champion Jim Goodchild.
Harrison said: “I’m very happy with my performance. In fact I was so chuffed with myself standing on the podium in between two former world champions is something I am very proud of and happy to say I've done.”
Next stop for the P1 AquaX Sprint Series is Greenock, where the riders will tear it up at the Scottish Grand Prix of the Sea. The event is new on the P1 calendar, so the riders are prepping for the unexpected.
Harrison continued: “The conditions in Scarborough for us stand up boys were flat compared to the runabouts. With a few rollers, you still had to be on your toes and the wash from the other skis could cause a couple of difficulties.
“I'm hoping Scotland to be the same as I feel these conditions suit my riding much better to chop, but whatever the conditions I will give 110%.”
