Powerboat racer Dave Taft meeting the locals
Having watched the last three rounds from the side lines, Arthur J Gallagher's pilot heads into the penultimate round of the P1 SuperStock season with a gung-ho approach.
“Things can only get better!” said Taft.
“My strategy is balls out, all out! Nothing to lose, everything to gain! Moving forward, Arthur J. Gallagher and I require consistency in performance and crew. Not sure how we'll be in Cardiff, as the boat is suited to rough waters, but as always, I'll give it my all!”
Early title favourites Pickfords have also endured a rough season and as long as Taft finish above them in the championship, he'll will be delighted.
He continued: “Hand’s down, the toughest competitor is Dave Hobson. The only way to beat him is to be as hard as him. Beat him and I'm happy!”
Arthur J Gallagher are competing down Cardiff Bay on 28-29 August, and a week later in Bournemouth, on 3-4 September.
