With poor weather forecasted the teams and riders knew conditions would be tough as the 2016 UK season comes to a climax on the Dorset coast. And it was to cause disruption before race two of the SuperStock schedule was able to get underway.
With better weather set for Sunday the organisers will be working hard to ensure the races are not lost and this could mean fans are set for a bumper racing calendar on the final day of the season.
It was Inverclyde who made the most of the conditions in the only SuperStock race to be completed, beating Experience Kissimmee as the Jackson brothers continue to battle for top spot in the championship.
The second of two P1 AquaX Enduro races was also called off and the second AquaX Sprint race was forced to end early in what could only be described as extremely challenging conditions off the shore.
Racing is currently scheduled to get underway at 12pm on Sunday.
