Rallying through the desert always gets my heart racing and I imagine that when we race on water for the first time the emotions are going to be similar.

With the ability of the P1 Panther to reach speeds of 113 kmhr on water, which is equivalent to 220 kmhr on land, we should be flying off breaks in the ocean rather than dirt mounds, and I can hardly wait.

The Dakar Rally , which is one of my favourite races, is the truest test of endurance, given that we race across 9,000 kms in a span of 13 days. The inaugural Nexa P1 Powerboat, Indian Grand Prix of the Seas is in that sense going to be literally a sprint, where the fastest pilot to cover 5.2km on water would be the winner. I would also have to get used to having a navigator alongside me.

Transitioning from just me and my road maps to a copilot would mean that I would have to listen to more than just my instinct.
