Having originally planned to solely re-enter the UK series, he's subsequently been attracted by the P1 AquaX Euro Tour. It's a chance for the newly-wed to compete not only in a different climate but against a higher class of opponent. "When the Euro series was announced I thought it looked like a great opportunity to get out there and race some new venues and competitors."
Huddleston is fully aware of how far racing has come during his time off and is prepared to take on Europe's finest. "I know how high the bar has been raised in the time I've had out by both UK and International racers. I know what it's gonna take to get results."
Looking ahead, the Kawasaki rider is taking a race-by-race mentality into the new season. "I would love to get back up on the podium but for now I've just got to focus on my own race, one at a time."
Huddleston hasn't been seen on the podium since 2014. Find out if he will be spraying bubbles once again this weekend in Normandy.
