World Rankings: June 2017 Edition

The time has come to announce the AquaX World Rankings once again and we have a new world number one!

After picking up a clean sweep in Daytona Beach to kick start the season, Chris MacClugage has sneaked ahead of former world number one and fellow Dean’s Team racer Aero Aswar but all could change this weekend at St Pete Beach.

The rankings, based on numerous factors including surf conditions and the calibre of racing/racers, are revealed every three months and will be recalculated just before the Chicago leg of the Pro Tour with Sarasota and Islamorada still to come following this weekend in St Pete Beach.

The top four is full of former world number ones as Eric Francis sits in third, one spot ahead of Mike Klippenstein.

Riva Racing’s Brian Baldwin splits two Brits as Joe Harvey (7th) looks to gun down Phil Pope (5th) and has set the marker down with a comprehensive victory at the opening Euro Tour event in Normandy earlier this month.

Racers will be looking to increase their ranking as much as possible as the series builds towards its first ever World Championship event in Key West in December.
