End of Season Review: PickfordsFX

A strong end to the campaign in Milford Haven helped PickfordsFX rise to an impressive fourth place overall.

Glynn and Lee Norvall did well on a difficult Saturday in Wales where three competitors failed to finish all three heats. Two fourth-place finishes and a fifth had them settled in third at the end of day one and they completed the UK series with an impressive third in Heat 6 following consecutive finishes in fifth.

A few weeks earlier, in Greenock, the PickfordsFX Panther crossed the Heat 1 line in sixth narrowly behind the Spirit of Inverclyde and then going on to claim fifth and sixth in Heat 2 and 3 before being forced to retire early from the weekend’s last race.

The first of the three events on the UK series was a trip to Aalborg, Denmark where the Norvall pair kicked off the campaign with a fifth-place in the Super-Final. A tight battle between themselves, Experience Kissimmee and Milford Waterfront was the highlight of the weekend’s pinnacle and they gained their place in the race by winning the Plate-Final.

PickfordsFX tipped their toes in the water during 2016 with two great outings and they built on that impressively this year to finish the 2017 UK series in fourth.
