Mark Pascoe
Team manager / throttles
Multi-tasking team manager and technical director Mark Pascoe – who also doubles up as a driver/throttleman when needed – has built up an enviable record in international powerboat racing. As team manager, he won the Class 1 World title with the Bagutta squad in 1989, the Class I British title with Team Honeyparty.com owner Richard Carr’s ‘Tekne Lamborghini’ outfit in 1991, and the Class II World title with Vulture Ventures’ Buzzi Buzzard in 1995. He’s also not shy when it comes to holding down the throttle in the hot-seat, as he still holds the 137mph Class II speed record, set in Lake Windemere in 1995, as well as a record-setting Poole-Cherbourg run in 1996 and the world LPG speed record in 1998.

Richard Carr
Throttles
Team Honeyparty.com owner Richard Carr is no stranger to offshore powerboat racing, with the Class I British title in the Tekne Lamborghini catamaran in 1991 among his crowning achievements. He’s certainly a welcome returnee to the offshore scene after a 15-year break from the sport. Renowned for his aggressive racing style – particularly in rough seas – he could often be seen overhauling current Class I world champion Steve Curtis when the pair raced against each other.
