Nico Huybens (BEL)
Team boss and throttles
Nico Huybens is known as ‘Huybee’ and has been mixing speed and water for more than 30 years. He is a highly accomplished throttleman and has raced professionally in Europe and America at the highest level, in both endurance and offshore racing. From Ostend, Belgium, he has competed in both Supersport and Evolution classes of Powerboat P1. Last year, he was throttleman of the #57 Limi Offshore Racing SuperSport entry alongside pilot Frank Hemelaer, and will no doubt be looking forward to continuing their successful relationship.

Frank van Hemelaer (BEL)
Pilot
Frank van Hemelaer isn’t a man who accepts limitations easily. A successful speed waterskier, he suffered a terrible accident in which his neck was broken. His solution? Satisfy the need for speed by competing in powerboats instead. The Belgian raced in Powerboat P1 Evolution last year as team owner and pilot of the #57 Limmi Offshore Racing SuperSport team.

Pierre Colpin (BEL)

Pierre Colpin started competing in
motorsports when he was just 8 years old.
He began with motorscross, but soon
felt a passion for motorboats. He has
been racing as co-pilot with Frank
Hemelaer for many years. They’ve started together and they have taken
breaks, but after 14 years they are
again a perfect team together with
Nico Huybens.
