Italian outfit Inrizzardi Racing steps into the Powerboat P1 arena in 2008 and is looking to cause a stir in its first season in the series with the #76 Italcraft entry.
Behind the wheel is former tennis star turned offshore powerboat racer Adriano Panatta, who is a big player in the Italian powerboat racing scene. Experienced throttleman Mauro Pallini is on throttle watch in the Binautica-built hull, which is powered by Seatek’s potent diesel engines.
Could this be the latest Italian team to set the Powerboat P1 pace? Only time will tell, but if Panatta’s powerboat potential is as strong as his forehands down the line, we’d like to think so.
