Vahid Ganjavian, known to his friends as Vee, is a driven individual who has put together one of the leading race packages in Supersport. An entrepreneur, based in Southampton in the UK, he is a self-confessed speed junkie, and has raced in Powerboat P1 for the last two years alongside throttleman and fellow Briton Charlie Williams-Hawkes. He was first bitten by the racing bug when, escaping the shackles of life as a city broker, he took part in the Poker Run series in America.

Gareth Williams (GBR)
Throttles
Gareth Williams is new to Powerboat P1 for 2008, but he brings a wealth of expertise to the team as a former RIB World and British champion. Between 2001 and 2004, he took 25 podium finishes – 17 of them outright wins – from 28 starts in Formula 2. He’s excited about the prospect of racing in Powerboat P1 with VoomVoom.com. Gareth is no stranger to the team’s Hustler 388 Slingshot. The boat is housed at a facility in Southampton that specialises in storage and powerboat preparation – and Gareth is the facility’s director.
